ABJECTION
Color hardens into atmosphere.
ABJECTION treats color as material pressure. MORTAR builds separation through cyan-green fields, mineral neutrals, restrained highlights, and warmth held in specific areas of the frame. SULFUR moves in the opposite direction, drawing colors toward yellow-green convergence, cream highlights, and a tighter chromatic field.
The two LUTs form different responses to the same condition. One gives materials greater distance and definition; the other makes color feel increasingly contaminated by its surroundings. Together they give the image a severe physical presence without reducing it to a uniform cast.
