UNCONSCIOUS
Before the image knows itself.
UNCONSCIOUS is built around three ways of letting color escape its ordinary hierarchy.
SALLOW pushes the frame toward a heavy warm neutrality, reducing the authority of blue and cyan while compressing the lower range. LURID opens the upper field and gives blue, violet, cyan, and magenta greater tonal distance. BILIOUS allows yellow-green and amber to spread through neutrals, while olive and earth-red relationships tighten the palette from within.
The collection is less about tint than displacement. Familiar colors stop landing where the eye expects them to. Some sink, some separate, others begin to affect what surrounds them. The image remains recognizable, but its chromatic logic becomes less certain, as though color had surfaced before the image could fully understand itself.
